Elke Jeurissen, Keynote speaker
Throughout my professional career in stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, public relations and public affairs, I have had the pleasure of working with many leaders in the political, media, academic and business arena.
In 2012 I founded the Fierce Ladies, where women grow together. Activities include over 150 role model talks, a growth academy based on the lessons learned of 4000+ leading women, initiatives to make women visible for board mandates and as experts in the media, and 13 editions of 72Hours Reload, international 3-day retreats gathering female leaders across sectors, backgrounds, cultures and generations.
To help drive an inclusive culture, I developed a model based on 5 drivers in 2019 as part of my INSEAD Gender Diversity Program. Over the past 4 years I supported many companies on their journey, such as Baloise Insurance, Wolters Kluwer, BASF, Waters Corporation, Deloitte, Citrix software, Women in Finance, several public institutions, etc.
I shared my vision on more than 100 conference stages in English, French and Dutch. I never stop learning. I am co- author of the book ‘Who run the world, the power of female leadership’ and frequently share my expertise on tv, radio & print media. Since April 2022 I am also President of the Board at VDAB, Flemish agency for employment, driving an inclusive job market.
From Risk Payout to Health pay-off: Building the Prevention-first insurance era, by Prof. Dr. Koen KAS, Healthcare futurist and Delight Thinker
Across Europe the cost curve of chronic disease is rising faster than GDP, yet 80 % of that burden is preventable. What if insurers stopped insuring sickness and started underwriting continued health? In this keynote I will outline a decisive pivot from reactive risk pools to proactive health platforms – one that turns every policyholder into a lifelong partner on a shared mission: staying “sick no more”.
Continuous data streams from wearables, smart homes, and biosensors enable dynamic underwriting and real-time risk scoring. I’ll show how predictive prevention shifts loss ratios by acting before ICD-codes materialise, and how to design incentives that delight customers rather than police them.
I introduce AI as the Invisible Orchestrator. Artificial intelligence will not replace underwriters; it will amplify them, triaging signals, personalising nudges, and powering the “digital twin” that guides each member toward their optimal lifestyle. We will explore low-friction ways to embed AI responsibly, guarding privacy while unlocking value.
The EPIC Future. Finally, I zoom out to longevity science, creativity, and purpose as emerging risk-mitigators. Insurers that nurture these human drivers will insure not just life span but life quality – and in doing so, remain relevant, trusted, and wildly profitable.

Only when you feel like you truly belong somewhere, can you develop your full potential at work. To create such a workplace, we need to reconnect across our differences. Diversity brings frustration. How do we turn it into an opportunity for growth?
There’s only one secret: “don’t fix the people, fix the company culture”. Listen and learn from other organizations making it happen. In this keynote I explain my recipe for really inclusive workplaces based on best practices around the globe and the real-life experience of hundreds of leaders.
