Working in « project » mode

Activities and collaboration among the member companies take place through three kinds of projects, which are distinguished by the kind of action undertaken and the nature of exchanges. Member companies can choose among different degrees of cooperation and joint activities.

The activities comprise:

  • Workshops, where the member companies share experience and know-how about subjects of common interest.  The objectives of the workshops are twofold: to provide a contact between the « business » divisions of the member companies and to identity possibilities for joint actions and create new project groups in these areas.

  • Joint projects, involving work with concrete and clearly identified objectives and a specific time schedule.

  • Shared practices, involving agreed-upon corporate practices from the daily operations of the companies, according to a policy decision of their leaders.

For each activity, a project team is established, piloted by a member of the Steering Committee (or a senior operational manager) and composed of business managers and specialists in the relevant area.  It carries out all necessary steps for the implementation of the project, in keeping with the objectives established by the Management Board.
