In order to support the operation of the EEIG in a " project " mode and to strengthen its operational nature, the member companies use a Steering Committee, to work with the Management Board and Presidium.  As the " strong arm " of the governing bodies, this structure involves more systematically the directors and senior managers of each company, and specialists and experts in the various fields.

  • The Management Board establishes the overall policy of the EEIG. It determines, in particular, the annual work and activity programme.

  • The Presidium is in charge of preparing the meetings of the Management Board.  It also ensures that the decisions taken by the directors are carried out and takes all necessary action or initiatives to implement the established policies.

  • The Secretariat of Euresa coordinates and supports the Steering Committee and the project groups in carrying out the objectives assigned to them by the Management Board (preparation, information, follow-up, organisation, etc.). It plays an important coordinating role for the various participants in the work of the project groups, notably in terms of information circulation.

  • The Steering Committee establishes the project teams and directs the progress of the work within the chosen strategy, in close liaison with the pilot and the secretariat. It ensures that the objectives and schedule are followed, takes any necessary action to assist the projects, identifies and suggests concrete perspectives for development, etc.

It is composed of two to three senior operational or strategic managers from each company, who have decision-making authority and an overview of the current strategies and projects, as well as the Director-General of Euresa. They are responsible for overall coordination of the work and are the link between the operational working groups and the Management Board.
